@thebunioncorrector is a dropshipping store that is probably printing cash at this point. The person behind this store picked the perfect product since it is commentable, shareable, hit a pain point, and has a sense of novelty to it all in one.

This is a great example of a product going viral and the video being the medium of delivery. They did a great job choosing tik tok since it is where people come for quick dopamine hits, a product that produces quick physical relief is something that would resonate heavily with such an audience.

The right products go viral, whether the video is good or not. But in this case, the video was good and was strong on TikTok creation basics, but it was not great video production.

Video Stats: 3.5M likes, 45.3M Views, 29.1K comments, 165K shares 6 seconds long

Standout Video elements that made it viral:

-2 frames within the first 1 second

-fast-moving movements

-ASMR “crank” of the machine within first 3 seconds

-text on the screen that is mysterious

-weird-looking product with weird claims

-Familiar text to speech lady speaking

-satisfying “toe crack” and a sigh of relief + weird product

-quick ending to the video

Why did it work? :

-The video was fast-paced and had intriguing visual elements. The product itself was eye-catching and not something you see every day.

-The video was also set up in an “ASMR” fashion which is a genre of content many people enjoy, people enjoy ASRM because the viewer can oftentimes feel the relief or tension that is happening within the video. And “feeling” something is what people come to tiktok for!

-The beginning has text on the video that is mysterious and makes the viewer ask “why is there a foot here and what about this thing makes me need it”, if you think about it it is quite a bizarre thing to see, this stops the thumb.

-The toe crack + sigh or relief is a cherry on top of the video as it allows for the viewer to almost feel the same relief

-People were also able to make all types of comments on the video, one of them being “I need this but for my back”, which shows how a large audience of people who like to crack their knuckles, back, and toes enjoyed and were hooked into the content. This also explains the high amount of shares on the video as I'm sure you probably know a finger popper! And so did 165K viewers who saw the video!
